Health & Safety Policy
**Purpose:**
To ensure the safety and well-being of all members, volunteers, and participants during Out-Out Groups UK events held at public venues.
**Scope:**
This policy applies to all activities organised by Out-Out Groups UK, including regular meetings, social events, and any other gatherings.

- **Evacuation Plan:** Identify the fire exits and ensure all attendees are aware of the evacuation routes and meeting points.
- **Fire Equipment:** Check that fire extinguishers and alarms are present and accessible.
**3. Emergency Procedures:**
- **First Aid:** Identify the location of the nearest first aid kit and ensure there is at least one person trained in basic first aid at the event.

- **Safe Space:** Promote a culture of inclusion and respect, ensuring that all members feel safe and supported.
- **Mental Health:** Provide information on mental health support services and encourage members to seek help if needed.
**7. Communication:**
- **Information Sharing:** Clearly communicate this health and safety policy to all members and volunteers. Make the policy available on the group’s website and at events.
- **Feedback:** Encourage members to provide feedback on health and safety issues and use this feedback to improve future events.
**8. Responsibilities:**
